↓ SPOILERS SPOILERS ↓

Hiram talks Meadow into convincing Desmond Danforth to take her, him, and Mal into the library. The plan goes awry when Desmond is seen talking to Willow. Meadow and Hiram convince Desmond to take the whole group to his father’s library. Hiram and Meadow distract him while Mal looks for a copy of Hoyles book of games. He finds it and manages to tuck it away. Willow is convinced that Meadow is trying to ruin her romantic chances with Desmond. Hiram wins a bet against Desmond. Meadow feigns fainting, and Hiram takes Meadow along with Mal and the book, leaving Willow alone with Desmond. Meadow is furious about Hiram leaving her little sister with a man of ill intent. And convinces Hiram to save her sister. Hiram does so by entering the building with a mask over his face, and firing shots into the ceiling. As the mansion evacuates, Hiram with Mal at his side, offers to take Meadow for a ride. We are left without hearing her response.
