This might not be the place to write this, but it is what it is.
I am a little bit obsessed with RPGs (in general) and Actual Play pods. I am new-ish (1 year) to the RPG world but am now apart of a few different groups - DnD, Pathfinder, and Star Wars (EoE). And I have also been faithfully listening to TAZ and Campaign. I absolutely love that this is a Western setting, and the story telling and game play so far is wonderful. The production of it is also well done, which is what my problem was with some other pods that I've given up on.
You've got me as a listener and I will be spreading the word!

Thank you Jenna! Love to hear whenever someone likes what we make. :) Apologies for the delay in response, I didn't have notifications set up quite correctly.

Is there a particular reason the episodes begin at 101? Are there 100 (recorded or unrecorded) previous episodes?

Great question, the 1 at the beginning is the season number. We decided to label them that way to shorten episode titles. For example S01E01 becomes 101

I saw your announcement of a season closer and thought I'd start listening from the beginning. I like what I've heard so far. Production values are great and I like the rooted premise. On the minus side I find the camera direction distracting (also I didn't think cowboys hugged so much). I'm looking forward to hearing the next episode. Thank you for creating this.

Thanks for the feedback Omar, I think I might have talked to you on reddit! Thanks for the nice words. I'd like to hear if your experience changes as you listen to more. Also, have you listened to the campaign podcast? If so do you have similar feelings about the way they do it?

Hi guys. Not sure if you'll read this but I enjoyed listening to the podcasts of Deadlands. I run a play by post online campaign though am a newbie to the Savage World system. I would give my age away saying I started D&D wuth the 'red box' set. A fan of Critical Role, I enjoyed their four part Undeadwood.

Well, feeling part Harrowed with nhl lymphoma as I isolate from a manitous inspired virus, I am blessed by the ongoing story and plot.

Hey Andy thanks! Glad you're enjoying it. Savage worlds is def a change of pace from D&D, I started on 3e, also aging myself haha. It is a hard time right now. Hopefully you got a bunch yet to binge of Crowes through, to maybe kill a bit of your time. Most of us Crowes are still working in "essential" services, but I was just quarantined for a week so I can empathize with you in a small way.

    About

Sounds Like Crowes is an actual play podcast where a posse of nerds pretend to be cowboys.
Above all else, we strive for production values.  We want the sound that hits your ears to be crisp, and interesting. That means starting with good equipment and recording conditions, and editing all the boring bits out of the gameplay.
We play out a continuing story in the world and system of Deadlands Reloaded. Our goal is to have character driven drama in a horrifying world, with a few laughs along the way. The cast play a group of brothers.
It is hosted by Caleb Sundsted.
